Burning Instructions: Trim wick to 5mm before every burn. Allow the first burn to burn for at least 2 hours or until the whole of the top of the candle is melted. Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time. Keep candle free of debris. Discontinue use when roughly 1cm of wax remains to prevent heat damage.

Warning: Do not leave a burning candle unattended. Vessel may become hot to touch, keep out of reach of pets and children. Do not move a lit candle. Ensure candle is on a heat resistant surface. Trim wick to 5mm before relighting. Do not allow candle to burn to the base of vessel. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire hazard or injury.

Soy wax frosting is a white crystal-like layer that forms on the surface of the candle, this often occurs in high quality natural waxes like soy wax. Wax frosting takes place when the candle is setting and tries to return to its natural state. This does not affect the candle in any way and is more of an aesthetic issue, it generally disappears after the first burn. We take great care in hand pouring the wax at lower temperatures to minimise this happening.

Wick mushrooming occurs once your candle has been burning for a while. This is a build-up of black carbon which occurs at the top of the wick in the shape similar to a mushroom. This will not affect your candle burn in any way and is more of an aesthetic issue. To remove simply trim the wick to 5mm before each burn. This is an important part of maintaining the wick of your candle. If this is not maintained before every burn, the wick will become too large and fall into the melted candle wax and ruin the look of the candle. Wick care is a must!
